Mohanlal’s film ‘Vrusshabha’ is not picking up speed at the box office. Even on day 5 the numbers stayed very low. In Malayalam the film collected only Rs 9 lakhs on day 5. The film has not shown any strong jump since release. Many expected the film to grow because of Mohanlal’s star power. But that is not happening for now.

Cast and team behind the film

Cinematography is by Antony Samson. Music is composed by Sam C.S. The film was made as a multi-language project. It was released in Malayalam, Telugu, Hindi, and Kannada.

Mohanlal on why the film felt different

Earlier, Mohanlal spoke about why Vrusshabha felt special to him. According to Mathrubhumi, He said, “It is very special for me because it is a strange combination. A Kannada director is directing a Malayalam-Telugu film with North Indian producers and Malayalam actors. That itself is a strange coincidence.”He also spoke about the story narration. “When Nanda Kishore told me the story, I felt there was something different in it,” Mohanlal said. He added that the story had a strong emotional pull from the start.DISCLAIMER: The box office numbers in this article are compiled from our proprietary sources and diverse public data.
