Breaking: Digvijaya Singh’s RSS Remark Triggers Storm in Congress, Leaders Divided Over Reform Call

Senior Congress leader Digvijaya Singh has sparked a major political debate with his remarks praising the organisational strength of RSS and BJP while calling for internal reforms within the Congress. Over the past 24 hours, his statement has dominated political discussions, with Singh standing firm on his view that while he opposes RSS ideology, its organisational skills can be studied. The controversy deepened on Congress’ Foundation Day, as leaders reacted sharply. Salman Khurshid rejected the idea of learning from RSS, saying Congress itself is a model to learn from. While leaders like TS Singh Deo and Subhashini Yadav supported strengthening the organisation, party spokespersons including Pawan Khera dismissed Singh’s remarks. The episode has exposed clear divisions within the Congress over strategy, leadership, and organisational direction.
