Popular YouTuber and Twitch streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” made a surprising decision recently that has created quite the chatter online. She deleted her official X Community and explained the reasoning behind such a critical move on her part. Valkyrae addressed the decision during a livestream, telling everyone that it was a well-thought-out decision.Valkyrae stated that fans were starting to dictate ther terms of her stream time. She found it disappointing that fans got annoyed or irritated if she was not able to follow their requests. Valkyrae also reflected on the toxic nature of the community and further declared that she wants to stay away from such an environment.

Valkyrae says the decision was about responsibility, avoiding toxicity, and protecting her peace

During a December 23 stream, Valkyrae clarified that she deleted the community because she no longer wanted to feel responsible for what happened inside it. She told viewers, “Anyways, moral of the story, I deleted the Twitter Comm, mostly because I didn’t want to be responsible for it… but a little too butthurt if I didn’t stream as much as they wanted me to, which I simply can’t do.”She revealed the idea had been on her mind for nearly a year. The constant arguments, reports, and hostility among members in the community made the space stressful and chaotic. Valkyrae did not hold back, saying, “I’m not going to lie, I was thinking about deleting that comm a year ago because, also, people were attacking each other.” Valkyrae also pointed out some odd and ridiculous behavior online, where people got into fights and arguments in the community unnecessarily. This escalated into baseless reporting and infighting. She expressed her disappointment, stating, “…some people just hated other people, and they started reporting other people for no damn reason.”Fortunately for fans, the streamer reassured them that they could still connect through a fan-run X Community. However, she expressed the need to distance herself from such communities online. prioritizing her well-being and integrity instead of dealing with negativity and toxic behavior. Also read: Valkyrae’s “questions she’s never been asked” video reveals her long-term streaming plans
