A tragic road accident occurred late at night around 12 am in Chitradurga district of Karnataka, when a bus travelling from Bengaluru to Gokarna collided with a truck. The collision triggered a massive explosion followed by a fire, creating panic in the area. According to sources, at least 12 people have lost their lives, while the death toll is feared to rise due to the severity of the accident. Several passengers sustained serious injuries and were rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. The exact cause of the accident is yet to be confirmed. Local residents were left shocked by the incident. Rescue and relief operations were immediately launched by authorities, and firefighters worked for hours to control the blaze and prevent further damage.
