Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s upcoming film ‘Love & War’ is buzzing in the headlines. Now there is an interesting update about the first glimpse of the film. The makers are reportedly planning to release the first glimpse in January 2026.The idea is to slowly introduce the world of ‘Love & War’ to the audience. According to Mid Day reports the glimpse may come as a poster or selected images from the film. Bhansali wants people to see his vision clearly.

Why January 2026 matters

January was always the planned month to reveal something special from ‘Love & War’. The makers feel this is the right time to build excitement. Fans have already seen leaked photos from the sets, stated the report.This first look is expected to give a hint about the love, pain, and war shown in the story. It seems like the team wants to keep the mystery alive. SJB is really teasing the audiences with small updates from the movie and till now it seems to be working well. The film’s shooting is almost complete.

Shooting update from the sets

Recently Alia Bhatt shot for a wedding scene with Ranbir Kapoor in Mumbai. She now has only the climax left to shoot with the lead actors. After that her part will be fully done. After the failure of Jigra Alia Bhatt seems to be all set for her comeback as she also has one more highly awaited film ‘Alpha’ in the pipeline.Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal will continue shooting for around six more weeks. The team is working carefully to finish the film in the best way possible.

Release date still not locked

The film was earlier planned for a March 2026 release. That plan has now changed. There is talk about an August 14 release. Some feel a June release would have been better. But nothing is confirmed yet.As of now the release date of ‘Love & War’ is still unclear. Everything depends on the final decision by the makers.

‘Love & War’ tells the story of a love triangle. Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal play army officers. Alia Bhatt plays the woman caught between them. The film mixes romance, emotion, and war in one powerful story.
