Bangladesh: Anti-Hindu Violence Erupts Again in Chattogram, Homes Burnt Amid Political Unrest

A major incident of anti-Hindu violence has once again surfaced in Bangladesh. In Chattogram, extremists allegedly targeted the Hindu community, setting several homes on fire. The disturbing visuals were shared by renowned Bangladeshi-origin writer Taslima Nasreen, who has repeatedly raised concerns over the persecution of minorities in the country. This comes days after the shocking killing of Hindu youth Dipu Chandra Das, who was falsely accused of blasphemy and brutally murdered. Despite police clarifying that no blasphemy case existed, attacks on Hindus continue unabated. The incidents highlight growing insecurity for minorities amid political instability in Bangladesh, while the silence of the international community has also drawn sharp criticism. Authorities have appealed for peace, but fear persists among Hindu families.
