The Seltos, first introduced in India in 2019, has been one of Kia’s key models in the country. “Seltos has long set benchmarks in the mid-SUV segment, and this new generation represents a bigger and more progressive evolution shaped by insights from Indian customers. With production now underway at our Anantapur facility, our teams are geared to ensure customers can take delivery without long waiting periods,” added Lee.

The all-new Seltos is built on Kia’s India-first global K3 platform, which the company said offers improved structural rigidity, suspension tuning and lower noise, vibration and harshness levels. In terms of technology, the model features a 75.18 cm panoramic display integrating the instrument cluster and infotainment system, wireless smartphone connectivity and an updated connected-car suite. Safety equipment includes a standard safety package and an ADAS Level 2 system with 21 features.
The Seltos will be offered with three engine options: A 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. Transmission choices include manual, clutchless manual, automatic and dual-clutch options. The SUV will be available across four main trims, with additional variants and accessory packages.
