NEW DELHI: BJP national working president Nitin Nabin on Tuesday called Congress leader Rahul Gandhi a “part-time politician” who comes for state visits only during elections.During his first visit to Bihar after assuming the national post, Nitin said, “Part-time politicians like Rahul Gandhi come to Bihar during polls, go abroad once elections get over.” “There is no shortcut in politics. For the long run, one needs to work patiently with commitment. We will meet the expectations of the people and develop Bihar,” he added.BJP national working president Nitin Nabin led a roadshow in Patna on Tuesday after assuming the national post in New Delhi on December 15.The roadshow began from Aranya Bhawan near the Patna airport and ended at Miller High School ground, close to the state BJP headquarters at Birchand Patel Marg, a party leader said. Nabin stood atop a flower-decorated vehicle featuring cutouts of the lotus, the BJP’s poll symbol. He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with Bihar BJP chief Sanjay Saraogi.The event drew a large number of party workers and supporters, with BJP leaders emphasizing their focus on long-term development and active engagement with the people of Bihar beyond election periods.
