Breaking: Nationwide protests over attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, Stir Outside Bangladesh High Commission in Delhi

Anger is rising across India over alleged attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh, with protests erupting in several cities including Delhi, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Jammu, Siliguri and Bhopal. In the national capital, BSP workers and Hindu organisations gathered outside the Bangladesh High Commission, demanding protection for minorities in Bangladesh. Protesters held the Bangladesh government and its chief adviser Mohammad Yunus responsible, alleging failure to ensure the safety of Hindus. Demonstrators raised slogans, burnt effigies and urged the Indian government to intervene diplomatically. Heavy security deployment, including Delhi Police and paramilitary forces, prevented protesters from reaching the High Commission. Several activists were detained to maintain law and order. While the protest later eased, tension remained at the site amid continued nationwide demonstrations.
