This is just a cope because you’re Indian and trying to group me with you so I have your same stupid views. It’s not happening.” The exchange also involved Indian-American Republican leader Vivek Ramaswamy who recently published a New York Times opinion piece titled “What is an American.” In the op-ed, Ramaswamy explained his version of the American identity and how it should be based on shared civic values and loyalty to the Constitution rather than ancestry or heritage.
