Influencer Ash Trevino was arrested in Texas on Wednesday night after police found active felony warrants in her name. The arrest happened in Venus, Texas, and was confirmed by local police. Ash Trevino, whose real name is Ashley Lopez-Trevino, was taken into custody and booked into the Ellis County Jail. She was later released on bond the same night.Police officials said the arrest happened without any trouble. Officers picked her up from her own front yard around 7:50 p.m. According to the Venus Police Department, the warrants were issued by the Waxahachie Police Department. The Venus Police Department confirmed that Ashley Lopez-Trevino had “active felony warrants” at the time of her arrest. Venus Police Department Chief James Groom told PEOPLE that officers acted on those warrants when they located her on Wednesday evening.Police said Ash Trevino was arrested in her front yard and taken into custody without any incident. She was then booked into the Ellis County Jail. Later, she was released after posting bond. No injuries or public safety issues were reported during the arrest.Soon after leaving jail, Ash Trevino appeared on social media. In a video, she laughed and addressed her followers directly. She said, “I’m going to fight this. I have a lawyer.” She also told fans that she was heading to a casino and said she was not worried about the situation.The police did not share details about the exact felony charges connected to the warrants. Officials only confirmed that the warrants were valid and active at the time of arrest. The case now moves forward through the legal system.Ash Trevino has not shared details about the charges either. Her online posts focused more on staying positive and telling followers she would handle the case with her legal team.
