The Venus Police Department confirmed that Ashley Lopez-Trevino had “active felony warrants” at the time of her arrest. Venus Police Department Chief James Groom told PEOPLE that officers acted on those warrants when they located her on Wednesday evening.Police said Ash Trevino was arrested in her front yard and taken into custody without any incident. She was then booked into the Ellis County Jail. Later, she was released after posting bond. She said, “I’m going to fight this.
