The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (FHCM) and Mercedes-Benz have signed a new partnership where the German auto giant will become the exclusive mobility partner of Paris Fashion Week.

The agreement covers all six runway seasons in 2026 in Paris, the uncontested fashion capital in terms of shows, presentations, and turnover of major brands.

“Effective throughout all Paris Fashion Week and Haute Couture Week editions in 2026, Mercedes-Benz- as the exclusive mobility partner- will provide the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode with a fleet of various Mercedes-Benz models across all events throughout the year,” the Federation and the auto company said in a joint release.

In effect, Mercedes Benz replaces French carmaker Citroën, whose recent 4×4 version of its classic DS have ferried editors, buyers, and VIPs across Paris over the past several seasons.

The FHCM organises all six annual Paris Fashion Weeks in Paris including two Haute Couture seasons; two women’s ready-to-wear weeks and two menswear seasons. And prides itself on serving a dual mission: as a professional organisation, it provides services to its member fashion houses and represents them both within the professional ecosystem and towards public authorities in France and Europe. And, as an event organisation, it aims to consolidate Paris as the fashion capital of the world.

Since 1995, Mercedes-Benz has been extremely active in establishing itself internationally as a major player in the global fashion industry. The business has provided travel and mobility services for multiple runway seasons, though this marks its first time doing so in Paris.

“By offering guests a premium mobility experience during the Paris fashion shows, the cars with the three-pointed star will reinforce the brand’s promise of ‘Welcome home.’ Throughout their Fashion Week schedule, guests will be able to enjoy a moment of well-being amid their professional activities, thanks to the comfort of a chauffeur service in the elegant and secure space of a Mercedes-Benz,” the Stuttgart, Germany based auto giant said in its communiqué.

The agreement debuts with Paris Fashion Week Men’s for the fall/ winter 2026-2027 collections, scheduled for January 20 through 25, with Mercedes-Benz providing the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode with a selection of different vehicle models.

The other five weeks and seasons in Paris are as follows chronologically: January 26-29, Haute Couture Week spring/ summer 2026; March 2-10, Paris Fashion Week Women’s fall/ winter 2026-2027;  June 23-28, Men’s spring/ summer 2027; July 6-9, Haute Couture, fall/ winter 2026-2027; and September 28-October 6, Women’s, spring/ summer 2027.
