VIRAL TWEET ‘predicting’ Virat-Anushka’s marriage resurfaces

VIRAL TWEET 'predicting' Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma's wedding resurfaces; Fans think they have found cricketer's secret handle

As Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma celebrated eight years of marriage on December 11, the internet dug up a gem from the archives. The post in question was neither one from Virat nor Anushka, but a fan post from before the two even met. A single, decade-old tweet has resurfaced, with fans calling it “prophetic.” A Twitter user named Gaurav Shakya with the handle, @shakya283, tweeted only once in his entire time on the platform, and wrote just one tweet, addressed to Virat.

Tweet goes viral

In the post dating back to 2012, the tweet read, “kohli anushka se shaadi karlo.”

Fans react to mystery post

The one tweet that fans are looking at as a prediction of sorts, has come true and 13 years down the line, Virat and Anushka have become one of the most loved couples in Bollywood. Since their anniversary, the post has gone viral with fans flooding the comments section. “Man predicted the future,” one wrote. Another joked, “Bro is a part-time astrologer.”Many hilariously begged Gaurav to predict their destinies too, while others wondered if the handle secretly belonged to Virat himself. “When you know it was Virat Kohli who tweeted this but you just can’t prove it,” a fan teased. Another guessed, “Shayad Kohli ne tweet dekh liya tha.”

About Virat and Anushka’s first meeting

What makes the post even more intriguing is that it was shared a full year before Virat and Anushka even met. The pair first crossed paths during an ad shoot in 2013. Virat has often recalled that fateful meeting on the film sets with equal parts fondness and embarrassment.“I was shivering,” Virat once said in a chat with AB de Villiers on the Three Sixty YouTube channel. “I was so nervous thinking, ‘How am I going to say hi to her?’”Much to his embarrassment, on noticing her heels, he blurted out, “Didn’t you get anything higher to wear?” Anushka shot back, “Excuse me?”Kohli also revealed that he once wrongly assumed they were already dating and sent her a message starting with, “When I used to be single…” to which Anushka replied, “What do you mean you used to be?” He laughed, admitting, “That was again a little awkward. But eventually, she found me to be a decent guy.”Virat and Anushka are now parents to two children, Vamika and Akaay. The couple has reportedly moved base to London to raise their children away from the spotlight. Go to Source
