‘Dhurandhar’crosses Rs 200 crore mark at end of week 1

'Dhurandhar' box office collection Day 7: Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna's spy thriller crosses Rs 200 crore mark at end of week 1; hits Rs 300 crore worldwide

There is just no stopping the Aditya Dhar directorial ‘Dhurandhar’, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, at the box office. The spy thriller is rewriting box office rules with a stellar performance that has surpassed even the expectations of trade experts.

‘Dhurandhar’ box office collection Day 7

The film, which has been ringing cash registers since its opening day on December 5, completed its first week at the box office by showing remarkable consistency throughout all seven days. As per early estimates, the film saw strong growth on Thursday, maintaining a steady graph with a reported collection of Rs 27 crore. Trade experts predict that early trends suggest Day 7 is heading for a final total surpassing Rs 28 crore net. This, however, depends heavily on footfalls during the night shows on a regular working day.

‘Dhurandhar’ occupancy rate

The film reportedly saw an overall 39.53% Hindi occupancy on Thursday. While morning shows began slow with an estimated 18.62% occupancy, the numbers grew steadily through the day — climbing to 34.70% by afternoon, 44.95% by evening, and peaking at 59.83% for night shows. This reflects extraordinary audience approval and strong repeat value, especially for its action sequences and gripping narrative. Such a mid-week boost is typically associated with films that grow massively through word-of-mouth, placing ‘Dhurandhar’ in line for a golden run at the Indian box office.

‘Dhurandhar’ day-wise box office collections

The film scored an estimated Rs 28 crore net on Day 1, followed by Rs 32 crore on Day 2. It registered its highest single-day collection on Day 3 with an estimated Rs 43 crore. On Monday, although the film saw a minor drop, it still held firm with Rs 23.25 crore. Tuesday and Wednesday remained steady, with the film collecting an estimated Rs 27 crore on both days. With Thursday’s numbers, the film’s total net collection stands at an impressive Rs 207.25 crore. Gross India collections are expected to rise to an estimated Rs 248.75 crore.

‘Dhurandhar’ international box office collections

‘Dhurandhar’ has also crossed the Rs 50 crore milestone internationally. As per reports, the film has earned an estimated Rs 57.5 crore from overseas markets, taking its worldwide total past the Rs 300 crore mark to an estimated Rs 306.25 crore. The film recorded exceptional occupancies across both metro cities and mass belts, further cementing its strong performance.
