GreenCell Mobility has announced an expansion of its intercity electric bus brand, NueGo, with the launch of new routes across South and North India. With this, the company now serves more than 120 cities.

The expansion includes new services on routes such as Chennai–Salem, Gurugram–Jaipur, Delhi–Lucknow, Bangalore–Mangalore, Vijayawada–Chennai, Vijayawada–Tirupati, Jaipur–Udaipur and Pondicherry–Trichy.

Devndra Chawla, MD and CEO of GreenCell Mobility and NueGo, said the new routes support the company’s mission of transforming bus travel in India through electric mobility solutions. He said the company will continue to develop its network and service features.

NueGo offers assisted boarding, seating facilities, water bottles and tissues, and operates AC electric coaches. The company said return-booking discounts are available during the holiday season.

According to the company, each coach undergoes 25 safety checks covering mechanical and electrical systems before departure. Buses are equipped with CCTV surveillance, breath analysers, driver monitoring systems and speed limiters. Travellers can book tickets through the NueGo website or mobile app.
