The Brando Appoints Christophe Adam as New General Manager

The Brando, a luxury resort on French Polynesia’s private atoll of Tetiaroa, has announced the appointment of Christophe Adam as general manager.

A seasoned luxury hospitality professional, Adam brings extensive international experience in the hotel and tourism industry. His career spans over 20 years, including the past two decades spent in the Indian Ocean, notably in Réunion Island and the Maldives, where he held several executive positions in prestigious properties, from independent boutique hotels to major hospitality groups. His versatile profile, combining strategic thinking with hands-on leadership, has enabled him to successfully manage complex projects in challenging island environments.

Located 30 miles north of Tahiti, The Brando offers 35 villas and one private residence, each with a private beach and plunge pool, along with amenities such as restaurants serving Polynesian and French cuisine, a Polynesian spa and naturalist-guided excursions led by Tetiaroa Society, The Brando’s non-profit partner.

As he steps into his role at The Brando, Adam brings his expertise to this unique destination that stands as a pioneer in sustainable hospitality and a symbol of enlightened contemporary luxury, which he is committed to nurturing alongside the resort’s dedicated team while continuing to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

“Joining The Brando is both an honor and a responsibility. I am deeply committed to a form of luxury that is meaningful, that respects and elevates the environment it inhabits. I look forward to contributing to the global radiance of this exceptional property,” says Adam.

A passionate advocate of meaningful luxury that respects life, Adam draws inspiration from the ocean, nature and the culinary arts in his work. The Brando is thrilled to welcome Adam and looks forward to his leadership, guided by a deep appreciation for travel and cultural heritage and a commitment to celebrating and preserving the unique character of Tetiaroa.
