JDU State President Umesh Kushwaha expressed strong confidence as early trends from Bihar indicate a decisive victory for the NDA, with the coalition appearing set to form the government with a commanding majority. Kushwaha said the people of Bihar have once again shown trust in the combined leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, emphasizing that when both leaders stand together, voters feel “trust, stability, and comfort.” Highlighting Nitish Kumar’s two decades of governance, he stated that the JDU’s development model and more than 500 welfare schemes reached every section of society cutting across caste, religion, and region. He credited the coalition’s focus on women and youth (M-Y factor) as a major contributor to the positive trends. Kushwaha added that the NDA’s likely landslide reflects Bihar’s endorsement of Nitish Kumar’s reputation for development, good governance, and inclusive policy-making.
