Director Ashwin Kumar’s ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’ is proving unstoppable at the box office, even after 28 days at the box office.

Film earned an estimated Rs 1.50 crore

The animated epic which has been enjoying its golden run at the box office, showed signs of slowing down on its fourth Thursday at the ticket windows. The film earned an estimated Rs 1.50 crore, from all languages, according to early estimates on sacnilk.

Strong growth till week 3

The film began its box office run with a collection of Rs 44.75 crore in week 1. However, it slowly picked up its pace in week 2 and week 3, earning an impressive Rs 73.4 crore and Rs 70 crore, respectively. Week 4 saw a huge drop in numbers, with the film earning an estimated Rs 30.25 crore.

Language-wise box office

As per box office data, the film, in its 4th week, earned Rs 32 lakhs from its Telugu shows and earned an impressive Rs 1.13 crore from Hindi shows.Breaking down the language-wise earnings, the Kannada version collected Rs 7.21 crore so far, making it a blockbuster in its own right. The Telugu version has added Rs 42.67 crore, while Hindi has emerged as the clear leader with a massive Rs 165.63 crore. The Tamil version collected Rs 2.51 crore, and the Malayalam version Rs 53 lakhs. The film managed to rake in an impressive India net collection of Rs 218.55 crore and an India gross collection of Rs 258.5 crore. Meanwhile, overseas markets reportedly contributed an estimated Rs 23.5 crore, pushing the worldwide figures to a staggering Rs 282 crore.

The streaming speculation for Ashwin Kumar’s directorial

While theatres continue to rake in the big bucks and the film sails comfortably over the Rs 1 crore mark, all eyes are now on the box office to see if the film will cross the Rs 300 crore mark.Amidst this golden theatrical run, the film has been making headlines for its OTT debut.
