The news was confirmed by family friend Sanjay Narain, who shared that the iconic actress “passed away late on Thursday night” and would have turned 99 in February.Among the many tributes pouring in from fans and celebrities was one from actress Kareena Kapoor Khan. Posting a beautifully preserved vintage photograph of Kamini Kaushal with her signature, Kareena added a red heart, a rainbow, and folded hands emojis.Kamini’s last significant on-screen appearance was in Aamir Khan’s ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ which was a remake of the Hollywood film ‘Forrest Gump’.
