Inde Navarrette on staying away from social media

While talking to PEOPLE about her film, she cited that she has been protecting her peace and limiting what she views on social media about her latest film. She also added that her mother has been doing the same and has kept away from reading reviews about her film. She added that this is “because it’s a beginning of a new process and a new step in my career, and I really want to make sure that I’m protecting myself first, while also giving thanks to everybody who loves the movie.”As for how she is managing all this, the actress revealed that the only thing she is allowing herself to see is limited to what her team and her family members send her. “then also just whatever I get in person, then it allows me to physically see that person, receive what they’re saying and to say ‘thank you’ to them directly,” she also quipped.

Inde Navarette talks about the raving popularity of ‘Obsession’

‘Obsession’ has now become one of the most talked-about horror films of the year, and the success has been huge for the actress. She weighed in and added that “Obviously, it just makes me feel really proud because I put everything that I possibly could into this character.”As to how and why she put so much effort into the character, the actress shared that “I knew I was going to do everything humanly possible and I was going to have so much fun while doing it because there’s just so many aspects to being a person and being a girl and everything that you don’t get to show. And I was like, ‘You’re going to see it.’”

Plot of ‘Obsession’

Navarette plays the role of Nikki, the central character of the story, after Cooper Tomlinson’s Ian uses the One Wish Willow to make her fall in love with him. The guy gets the girl, and at first, all things seem fine in their lives. However, Ian ends up discovering that there is always a price to pay for every granted wish; this time around, something terrifying and sinister is amok.As per Rotten Tomatoes, the critic reviews for the film stand at 95%, while the viewer reviews stand at 95%. The film will be released in Indian theatres on May 29.
