John Cena reveals his unexpected guilty pleasure show while opening up about 'Little Brother'

John Cena has a guilty pleasure show, and he is not shy about sharing it. The actor and retired pro wrestler, 49, recently opened up about his favourite show on the streaming platform and his upcoming comedy ‘Little Brother’, where he stars alongside comedian Eric André. When asked if he had a guilty pleasure on the platform, Cena did not hesitate. “Loves me some secret millionaire,” he said, referring to the show ‘Million Dollar Secret’, an elimination game in which 12 contestants must figure out which one of them is secretly in possession of $1 million. The contestant holding the money gets to keep it, but only if they can avoid being identified and eliminated by the other players.”I think it’s a sleeper,” Cena added. “Folks should check it out. I love the show.” He even revealed he is hoping for a future appearance on the series, crossing his fingers for “a cameo of some sort in the future.”

John Cena on working with Eric André on ‘Little Brother’

Pivoting to his own projects, Cena opened up about his upcoming film ‘Little Brother’, a comedy in which he stars alongside comedian Eric André. The film tells the story of a successful real estate agent whose carefully organized life is thrown into chaos when his eccentric younger brother suddenly reappears. Michelle Monaghan, Christopher Meloni, Ego Nwodim and Sherry Cola also appear in the film. Cena made clear he was already a fan of André long before the project came together. “I’m a huge fan of the ‘Eric Andre Show’. I have not laughed out loud so much for as long as I can remember,” he said. “And when I read the script for ‘Little Brother’, it’s absolutely for Eric, and he just kind of needed a sounding board for his jokes, and I am happy to be that sounding board.”He went on to praise André’s creative approach at length. “His courage is relentless, and his mind is always working,” Cena said. “Eric is hard to compare with anyone else. He’s not so risk-averse. He’s crazy, but so thoughtful, and his mind is always working, and it’s just awesome to see.”Cena also drew a parallel between working with André and his years in WWE. “I always love being around talented comedians because everyone, I always compare everything to WWE, it’s very much like being around WWE superstars. There’s no wrong way to do our business and everyone has a different recipe, and comedians see it the same way. There’s no real wrong way to do comedy, and everybody kind of has a different perspective.”‘Little Brother’ premieres on Netflix on June 26. Go to Source
